I'd like to see them get Morris up maybe after the all star break. They do have a lot of guys coming and I could see them making some sort of deal to clear some space.

Even though I know this isn't something the Pirates ever do, is this a situation where he could skip over AAA altogether. I mean, not that there isn't a certain art to relief pitching, but I don't see it as complicated as slowly moving a hitter along, or even a starting pitcher. Welker obviously has the fastball, and a decent breaking ball to go along with it, so if he can place both of those, what's the need for AAA?

Not that I necessarily expect that to happen, especially considering how well the bullpen has done so far this year (outside of whenever Meek steps onto the mount). Morris hasn't even had a chance yet. I'm just very curious to see how everything unfolds once the moves throughout the minors start taking place, since this is obviously a guy that deserves to be in Indy at the very least.
