Jonathan Mayo Sticks With Max Fried in Latest Mock Draft

For his past two mock drafts, Jonathan Mayo has gone with left-handed prep pitcher Max Fried for the Pirates’ pick in the first round. In his latest mock draft he has Fried once again.

Mayo had the usual top seven guys going in order before Pittsburgh picked eighth. He noted that the pick could be Deven Marrero or Chris Stratton if the Pirates went the college route, but that Fried’s upside might be too much to pass up.
