See Jose Bautista, Jose Guillen, and Aramis Ramirez for three examples. Let’s try not to lose patience with el Toro as well. Over 80% of the guys who have had single season bests of 36 or more HR have done it AFTER their 26th birthday, which for Pedro will be just around when pitchers and catchers report next winter.
