The Pittsburgh Pirates agreed to terms with 11th round pick Christopher Diaz, Pirates Prospects has learned. The shortstop out of North Carolina State hit for a .356/.394/.482 line in 253 at-bats this year as a Junior.
No word yet on the amount Diaz signed for.

this should make him feel better; he almost killed the umpire when he struck out looking against Florida to end NC State’s season on Sunday. The pitch was borderline, but he freaked out! Good player though; glad he’s with the Bucs!
