Tim, What are the chances for Rider, Kent St, signing. I really like this kid. He plays the game hard and can hit the ball. Second baseman of the future or a super utility player….

I have a good feeling about the Pirates’ negotiating. I feel we may sign a few of the 1-10 round guys well below slot. Hopefully we don’t throw all that money at Appel and Boras.
I wouldn’t mind signing Appel, but the price should be reasonable and not too much above slot. The way our team is performing right now and the farm system is shaping up I reckon this will also help a lot to draw players to Pittsburgh. Thankfully these are exciting times to cheer on the Buccos again!
