Marte Homers, triples and doubles against a pitcher who was starting for the Atlanta Braves for 3 months. Lets not call him up since he didn’t get a walk on his 4th at bat. Wouldn’t Colorado have been the perfect place to let him start his career?

How much longer do we need to watch Drew Sutton or Josh Harrison play the outfield? we’re in the pennant race for goodness sake… can Marte actually be less of an offensive player than either of these guys because it’s obvious neither guy is much of an outfielder and we know Marte is an excellent one. What other reason is there for not promoting Marte now… Tabata doesn’t look like he’ll be ready to return any time soon

When you get called up in-season, that counts as one option. But, you can go up and down as many times as possible within that season and it still only counts as one option. So his going up and down 3 times this year still only is considered one option.

This will make the third time Hague has been demoted this season. Does anyone know the rules about a player running out of options and so forth?
