Jim Bowden of ESPN has an article up looking at five trade proposals for Justin Upton of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Bowden starts off by mentioning that the Pittsburgh Pirates have had very few conversations with Diamondbacks' GM Kevin Towers. Bowden notes that Neal Huntington called Towers, but it doesn't sound any different from the calls he made to every other team shopping players.
Bowden also notes what we heard yesterday, that the Pirates don't match up well with Arizona. He says that a third team would probably have to be involved for the Pirates to land Upton.
