It wasnt so much that he got hit. Its that nothing was done about it. He saw no retribution and the team not standing up for him. It almost looks like he quits on some at bats.

can’t sit your best player… might try replacing Bedard the next time through the rotation through, don’t care if it’s Correa or Locke but just spinning balls up low and on the inside half to Carlos Gomez and out over the plate to Ramirez is horrible, the Pirates have no chance when the starting pitching stinks, much less mediocre, maybe Correa pitches well just to prove a point about being sent to the bullpen
