Keep in mind that Irwin is already 25 and will be 26 all of 2013′s season. For me that dings him a bit in terms of ranking, especially with his ceiling being a #4 or #5 to begin.

Irwin might get some consideration for the a top prospect, but what the Pirates will do with him is anyone’s guess. What we see is apparently a lot different than what they see. Many think the AAA team has a lot of talent on it, but from the call-ups doesn’t look like it.
