If the draft class this year wasn’t so bad, coupled with players being traded/graduating to majors, I would say for certainty that he is out, but he could squeeze in at the bottom. The start I saw this year, I didn’t see a pitcher who was even as good as last season at the same level. I’d even add on that he is a soft-tossing righty who elevates the ball too much. Even the starts with good results(5IP 1ER in each of last two games) he is still giving up nine baserunners a game.

If he is throwing 88-90 up in the zone next April/May in Bradenton, his stats could get very ugly
