Minor Moves: Cole Officially Promoted; Restocking Indianapolis

The Pirates called up five players today, which led to roster shuffling in the upper levels of the minors to fill those empty spots in Indianapolis.

**Gerrit Cole was officially promoted to Indianapolis to make his Triple-A debut tonight.

**Kris Johnson was also promoted to Indianapolis.

**Miguel Perez and Logan Kensing were activated from the Triple-A disabled list. Those four moves help make up for today’s September callups.

**Kyle Kaminska has been officially promoted to Altoona to make tonight’s start.

**Dovydas Neverauskas and Bryton Trepagnier have been promoted from the GCL to State College.

Will darnaud go to indy for the playoffs?

  • State College Steve

So why when they showed the next four schedules starters is F’ing KC pitching against the Astros next Wednesday. They put Locke in the rotation, why not McPherson. I DO NOT want to see KC in the starting rotation for the rest of the season……I don’t understand this front office. All these call ups and they go back to KC who won’t even be on the club next year……jeesh….
