I turned the game on literally 90 seconds before the Paul HR so I got to see that and Tabata blow a tire coming around 2nd. (What happened to him? I think Satan gave his ability back to Nate McLouth) I have been watching 80-90% of the Pirates games despite living in Columbus for 8 years. At around $12 a month for the package it just isn’t worth the frustration. That’s around $1000 I’ve spent on them the last 8 years not counting the 5-10 games I’ve gone to over that time. I think of all the season tick holders and what they spend and cringe. I think finding something else to do for 3 hours a night, 4-6 nights a week will make my wife very happy. For me, it is almost a relief not having the albatross of the watching Pirates around my neck. I will still follow this site to get my Pirates news…and because misery still loves company.
