AFL Recap: Santos Gets a Hit; Black Pitches Shutout Inning

The Scottsdale Scorpions lost 7-2 to Peoria. Here is how the Pirates prospects fared tonight.

**Adalberto Santos was the designated hitter, batting third. Santos went 1-for-3 with a walk

**Brandon Cumpton came on to get the final out of the sixth inning. Cumpton got a ground out, stranding one runner on base.

**Vic Black pitched a shutout inning. He allowed two hits while striking out one. It was the second appearance for Black, with the first appearance seeing one unearned run in one inning. Black pitched the eighth inning in each game.
