I’ve only seen him in two games this week (plus a few games during the regular season). He’s hit the ball hard when I’ve seen him. But he’s also too far away to count on for anything.

So what is your impression of Eric Wood? Is he a guy that just completely flew under the radar going into the draft? He had a good season and extrapolating from your brief write-up, is continuing to hit the ball hard during instructs. I know it’s probably a complete long-shot, but do you think the Bucs might have found a diamond in the rough?

Who was playing SS and who was playing 2B when Herrera and Moroff were on the field? I’m assuming Moroff was at short?

I know you get asked this every five seconds but I’m assuming we won’t see Josh Bell until spring training at the earliest?

I wouldn’t be concerned by it. It just means he’s not ready for the majors right now and needs some work in the minors.

Good stuff, Tim. It’s a personal preference, but I’m glad to see these guys wearing their socks high. I also like Santos’ leg kick – it looks a bit like what Dontrelle Willis’ used to do.
