I think that Sean Casey would be a great selection for hitting coach. Lifetime. 300 hitter, good baseball IQ, and excellent clubhouse guy.

Probably, but he’ll get to be HMFIC at a D-1 school, have the access to all the facilities, and still get a decent check from it. This is probably a good move for him.

people can harp all they want about Barmes, he earned his paycheck this year. he was signed for the glove and the guy delivered. if he got about 20 more hits he probably would get more notice for a gold glove, which he deserves.

McHenry too although can’t forget to mention Rod and Barmes. Hopefully Tabata and Pressley can be better next year.

our top hitters this year ALL progressed from last season. Cutch, Walker, Jones and Pedro all had career or better seasons than before. The one hitter that took a step back was Tabata.
