Watched a little bit of this. Kaminska was around 87 mph on every fastball according to the gun. He does throw with an easy low effort delivery from what I saw. Santos stole second and third. He reminds me a little of a slightly smaller Tabata build-wise. Stocky but quick. Although Tabata didn’t show much of that speed in 2012.

Kaminska was an unexpected benefit from the Gaby Sanchez trade with the Marlins. He seems to be maturing as a pitcher at just the right time for the Pirates. He leads the AFL in innings pitched (28) and has a 5/1 K/W Ratio (21K/4W). But possibly the best of his game is the 1.91 GO/AO Ratio, so like Jared Hughes, he probably has a lot of sink on his fastball. The Marlins buried him in the bullpen the past few years, and the Pirates took him back to Hi A and made him a SP again. He has benefitted big time from that change.

Watched the game last night on MLB Network. The CFB games that were on sucked and luckily found this. Kaminska looked good.
