AFL Weekly Recap: Looking at the Numbers at the Half Way Mark

Here are the results from the AFL over the last week, as well as the results from the year as we’re now past the half way mark for the 2012 AFL season.

**Adalberto Santos went 6-for-17 with two doubles and a triple. On the season, Santos is hitting for a .294/.400/.471 line in 51 at-bats.

**Matt Curry went 2-for-9 with four walks. Curry has a .204/.306/.259 line on the year in 54 at-bats.

**Gift Ngoepe went 4-for-6 with a double and a walk this week, including a three hit game last Tuesday. Ngoepe has six hits on the year in 31 at-bats, including his four from this week.

**Kyle Kaminska threw five shutout innings, allowing one hit, no walks, and striking out six. On the season, Kaminska has a 2.00 ERA in 18 innings over four starts, with a 16:1 K/BB ratio.

**Brandon Cumpton made one appearance, giving up a run on two hits in one inning, with two walks and no strikeouts. Cumpton has a 4.00 ERA in nine innings, with a 4:4 K/BB ratio.

**Tyler Waldron made two appearances, throwing two shutout innings in each game. He combined for four shutout innings, giving up one hit, no walks, and striking out three. He has a 3.00 ERA in nine innings this year, with a 6:6 K/BB ratio.

**Vic Black made two appearances, combining for two shutout innings, while giving up one hit and two walks. He also threw in the AFL Rising Stars game, getting one out and giving up a walk. Black has a 6.43 ERA in seven innings this year, with a 6:7 K/BB ratio.
