The season still has five weeks and then playoffs so there is plenty of time for them to play. The experience is good for the younger players and because these teams carry 50 or so players throughout the year, they might not even be with the team all season. Usually the better players will play more near the end, so expect more time for Marte. It is actually impressive that Polanco has played so much already, usually the rosters are filled with present and former major leaguers, along with minor league vets. You have to be a pretty good single-A player to get any playing time, but as I said, the experience is immeasurable. Caribbean Winter League games are events, they aren’t anything like playing in front of minor league crowds

Marte has played quite a bit. Having a really good year over 300 hundred BA with a number of walks. Single A guys tend never to play to much unless they are total studs.

Well at least we know that Hansen and Polanco shouldn’t be overworked heading into high-A next year. Marte as well, seems like he should be very fresh for Spring Training.
