You would think they would say something about their 21 year old pitcher being used strictly as a LOOGY. He threw one pitch yesterday, four the previous game, three pitches on Nov 14th, one the day before. In between there was a five pitch game. He at least had 13 pitches total in the first two games of this streak, but you’re still talking about a young kid throwing a total of 27 pitches over the span of a month.

Doesn’t seem like a good thing for his career. You know he won’t be used that way next year whatever level he pitches at. As far as I know, you don’t start developing lefty specialists at the lowest levels, guys just eventually become that player once they’re good enough to make the majors. End rant.
