The book is out on Dee Gordon – he can’t hit a plus fastball to save his life. And with no power source, he’s going to see a lot of them. Basically Wily Taveras playing SS. Other than the speed, he really as no secondary skills to stick. Even the glove is replacement level.

There are few starting SS I would not slot in ahead of Barmes, but you just named one of them.

I’d take Dee Gordon straight up in that deal. I don’t see any chance of even that deal happening. Although, if the Dodgers are desperate enough to “complete” their team in their view, you never know. I’m a big fan of multiple teams becoming interested in Hanrahan though, that will only drive the price up higher.
