Parra seems like a lefty whose peripherals are consistently better than his ERA where Lannan seems like a lefty whose peripherals are consistently worse than his ERA. I pick Lannan.

Sure, in 30 innings. He also did ok in 2002, 2004 and 2007. And was a nightmare the rest of the time.

“Interested” covers a lot of ground with a guy like Parra. They may just be thinking in terms of a minor league deal, which is the most I’d give him. He pretty much sucks.
