Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com has released his top 10 right-handed pitching prospects for the 2013 season. It doesn’t come as much surprise that Gerrit Cole and Jameson Taillon both made the list. Cole came in raked at number five, and Taillon came in at number six. The top four were Dylan Bundy, Taijuan Walker, Jose Fernandez, and Zack Wheeler.
Both starters made the 2012 list, only Taillon was third last year and Cole was sixth. Taillon also made the list in 2011, being ranked sixth.
UPDATE 6:19 PM: Originally the article had Cole in the third spot. The article has since been updated and Cole is now fifth, with Taillon still at number six.
