In case you haven’t seen it before, we have a “Players” section on the site, which features profiles of every player in the system who is playing for a U.S. team. The player pages provide transaction details, salary and bonus information, and Wilbur Miller’s reports on the players over the years.
When players make the jump to the US, or when a new player is signed or drafted, Wilbur creates a profile for that player. Since the minor league Spring Training roster was announced yesterday, we know the group of players who will most likely be making that jump to the US in 2013. Wilbur put up all of the new profiles tonight, and the links are below for you to check out the new players.
- Oderman Rocha
- Mervin Del Rosario
- Jovany Lopez
- Adrian Grullon
- Miguel Rosario
- Cristian Santiago
- Daniel Arribas
- Carlos Ozuna
- Ulises Montilla
- Enyel Vallejo
- Maximo Rivera
- Cesilio Pimentel
- Angel Sanchez
Most of these players will be playing in the GCL in 2013. Also, be sure to check out the depth chart on the “Players” site, which is a great resource and constantly updated.
Kind of a short post tonight. I took advantage of the cancellation this morning by unpacking the rest of my apartment. Check out my story on Tyler Glasnow today. Tomorrow I’ll be looking at some potential breakout players for the 2013 season, and Glasnow will be one of them. Also, the weather should be much better, so I should have something to report on from Pirate City and McKechnie.
