Earlier today we heard that the Pittsburgh Pirates want to sign both Francisco Liriano and Jonathan Sanchez. Jon Heyman has an update, saying the Liriano deal is still on track.
It doesn’t seem like we’ll have a conclusion to this any time soon, but today’s news confirms that the Pirates haven’t moved on from Liriano.
