He is nearing the point in his career where he has to move up now or never, and being away from the decision-makers for an extended period will not be beneficial for him. WOW, Cole and Taillon throwing against one another – great fare even for an intra-squad game. I was worried about Taillon going off to Team Canada, but with Russell Martin on that squad also, it could be a plus in the long run.
