Those are Santos’s only position and with the overflow of corner infielders (Robinson, Hague, larish and Goedert) there really won’t be room for him at DH either.

I have been dying for some info on him. He impressed me more than anyone when I was down at camp the first week of march (except maybe for the size of josh bell – the dude is physically imposing). Vallejo put on a BP show and looked real smooth during infield drills, but I couldn’t find anything on the guy when I got home.

I’m very much looking forward to a report!

And there are more behind them.

It’s pretty much a continuation of camp. If it’s one guy’s turn on Opening Day, then he’s the Opening Day starter. So there probably won’t be much on the rotations until the season starts.

I’m going to a couple of the WV games when they come to Asheville and would love to line them up to catch one of the starters like Heredia.

Seems like AAA will be mostly bad veterans instead of prospects in the field. AAA rotation could be really good though.

I’m excited to see what Mathisen can do this year in WV.
