Stetson Allie and Brett Carroll Win Player of the Week Honors

Brett Carroll was named the IL Batter of the Week.

Earlier today I reviewed the top hitting performers from the past week, with Stetson Allie and Brett Carroll finishing as the top two hitters. They also each took home Player of the Week honors in their respective leagues.

Brett Carroll was named the International League Player of the Week after going 10-for-17 with three homers and two walks. Carroll is the first Indianapolis hitter to win the IL Batter of the Week award since Starling Marte won during the week of June 25-July 2, 2012.

Stetson Allie was named the South Atlantic League Player of the Week after going 15-for-31 with three doubles, four homers, and three walks. Allie currently has a nine game hitting streak and a ten game on-base streak....
