I don’t really see his control as a problem at this point, since he has been in the majors his control has not affected his results all that much, it helps when you have an out pitch. In certain situations, walks are good things anyway, just looking at a K/BB stat tells only part of a story.

Hopefully one of the following: Morton, McDonald, Karstens can come back and be a solid starter for a few more years.

LH that can throw mid 90′s as a starter, hard to hit….if he succeeds, think of the value. When AJ and Wandy are gone, he could be a part of a rotation depth that includes Morton, Locke, Tallion, Cole,McPherson. Only one soft tosser in that bunch. Morton throws low 90′s sinker, but can ratchet it up to mid 90′s if needed. Not a bad group of starters, and I didn’t mention JMac.

I lol’d.

Also, it’s good to see that these guys we had high hopes for are doing well.

So far, he hasn’t disappointed me. Wilson has been awesome out of the pen. I thought his control would be worse. I am a little concerned about Morris’ K/BB rate so far.

Sorry to hear that news about Owens, but he was never high on my list.
