The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed Jonathan Sanchez, according to Jon Heyman.

What this means for the Pirates is that the Dodgers assume a pro-rated portion of the league minimum salary for Sanchez. That means the Pirates are off the hook for about $371,538 of Sanchez’s salary this year, putting the estimated payroll just under $68 M.
