AAA: INDIANAPOLIS INDIANS

Box Score

Result: Indianapolis 4, Toledo 3

Starting Pitcher: Brooks Brown, RHP (2.33) – 4.0 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 4 K, 0 HR

Top Hitter: Josh Harrison, SS (.308) – 2-for-3, BB

Other Notable Performers:

Jared Goedert, 3B (.213) – 2-for-4

Ivan De Jesus, 2B (.329) – 2-for-3, 2B

Jared Hughes, RHP (0.00) – 1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 1 K, 0 HR

Tim Alderson, RHP (2-0, 1.42) – 2.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 2 K, 0 HR

Game Notes: Tim Alderson made his first appearance with Indianapolis since being promoted from Altoona. Earlier in the year he gave up one run in 3.2 innings. The Indianapolis rotation remains depleted, which is why Brooks Brown and Alderson had to combine for 6.2 innings of work. Jared Hughes picked up the save with a scoreless ninth. He has pitched 4.2 shutout innings in four appearances, but now has three walks in that span.

AA: ALTOONA CURVE

Altoona was postponed due to rain.

A+: BRADENTON MARAUDERS

Box Score

Result: Charlotte 7, Bradenton 3

Starting Pitcher: Robby Rowland, RHP (2-1, 4.15) – 6.0 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 0 K, 1 HR

Top Hitter: Jacob Stallings, C (.221) – 2-for-4, 2 2B

Other Notable Performers:

Taylor Lewis, CF (.238) – 1-for-4, 3B, RBI

Game Notes: Robby Rowland’s last two starts have almost been identical. He has given up three runs and two earned runs in six innings in each start, with six hits in each start. The only difference is that he walked two and didn’t have a strikeout tonight, and didn’t walk any and had two strikeouts last time out. Rowland’s GO/AO ratios have been 2.0 and 2.4 respectively in those starts, which is a good sign for his sinker. Cesar Lopez made his debut in high-A, but gave up four runs on four hits in 1.2 innings.

A: WEST VIRGINIA POWER

West Virginia was postponed due to rain.
