[Update: A.J. Burnett has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 9. More information can be found here.]

The Pittsburgh Pirates haven’t made a decision on who will go down to make room for Charlie Morton on the 25-man and 40-man roster. One issue is that A.J. Burnett has been scratched from his start tomorrow with a right calf injury. Burnett made the team aware of his injury yesterday.

If Burnett goes on the 15-day DL it would create a spot on the 25-man roster for Morton. However, a spot would need to be made on the 40-man roster. Jeff Locke will start on Friday, and the starter for Saturday is TBD.
