He writes a weekly article on Pirates history for the site, has already interviewed many of the current minor leaguers with many more on the way and follows the foreign minor league teams very closely for the site. Minor League Schedule: Kingham Likely To Make Altoona Debut Tonight

Well Andy Oliver is starting tonight, so he obviously won’t be pitching Saturday for the Pirates. After the AS break, it is time to move Glasnow up to Bradenton. He is way above the talent level of the SAL.

    • John Dreker

These are just probables, so there is still a chance they hold off on Oliver and use him in the majors. His control against AAA batters is horrible though, so I couldn’t imagine what a major league line would do against him.
Glasnow probably won’t move up this year. He is just getting used to a full season workload and he is still on a very limited pitch count. I could be wrong, but I don’t think you will see more than two starts for him at Bradenton this year and none wouldn’t surprise me. Next year would be the year they move him quicker like Nick Kingham
