I think any team in the system would look better adding two of the top ten prospects in the system, including one of the top two (while already having the other one).

Plus it helps that Dickerson and Rojas are hitting well lately.

It seems that mental errors don’t usually get called errors. If you physically boot a grounder, they will call an error. But if you field the ball cleanly and make a stupid decision, it won’t be called, even though it should.

I’m sometimes hyper critical of the team and feel they shouldn’t make stupid mistakes but I sometimes forget other teams make them too. Not that it’s right for the Pirates to have brain freezes in one run divisional games but it’s just good to see other teams make their share of F-ups.

I thought he only hit ONE HR?

It was hit so hard that he didn’t have time to get his glove down or block it with his legs, but it had to be ruled an error. His second AB,which resulted in a triple, was a textbook AB of about 8 pitches where he watched every pitch the guy had, picked out the one he liked and then hit a line drive into the right center gap to drive in the 1st Curve run and then scored on a sac fly to tie the game at that time.
