Minor League Schedule: Heredia Tries To Bounce Back From Tough Outing

Luis Heredia gets the start for West Virginia tonight, trying to recover from a very rough outing in which he gave up eight runs. It was the first time he has pitched poorly this year. Altoona was rained out last night against Erie. They will make the game up when the two teams meet again in August. The GCL Pirates and both DSL affiliates were off yesterday. For a look at the possible starters over the next few weeks, please check out our Probable Pitchers Chart. If Navarro got pushed back from yesterday to today because of the rainout, does Kingham get pushed back to tomorrow (since Taillon will skip his start with neck stiffness)?

Curve website is still showing Taillon for Tuesday, though Cory Giger tweeted he’ll be skipped.

Here I was expecting to see two top Curve pitchers in Trenton; now I’m reduced to hoping I get one… :-(

The Altoona site now says Navarro today, Kingham tomorrow and Bromberg Wednesday, so that is likely correct and makes sense based on what we have heard
