But damn was I wrong. Dude’s hitting .800! He’s twice as good as Ted Williams. And I don’t want to hear anything about a small sample size, move him up to Jamestown right now. :-)

Dennis was coming out of the JuCo ranks, while Reese was from high school. So that’s probably why they went where they went.

Also, the GCL team is managed by Milver Reyes, who caught for ten years in the minors. So there’s probably some benefit to McGuire working in the GCL directly under Reyes.

All of the services that offer stat feeds and that are affordable only offer MLB stats. If you’re looking for something all on one page, I recommend the B-Ref affiliates page:

Reese is our number one pick and he goes to GCL. Dennis gets picked in later rounds but gets assigned to Jamestown. Is it because Reese is directly from high school?

It could look like stat page of each affiliate only just showing 2013 players (and possible 2012 etc)? We could go to a certain page and see how they all are doing. Now I have to go to every affiliate page and look up and down to see where the rookies are. Thanks, and great site!
