Fwiw, of guys I saw hit down here today, other thsn Polanco,, Snider was crushing everything – much sharper contact than any of the LH 1b possibilities.

Gotta ask, why isn’t Snider taking reps at first?

Nice news about Snider, because he needs to catch a break. If he has a strong Spring, there is a good chance he will start in RF and Tabata will be the utility OF – we need his LH bat in the lineup. A quick check indicates that Snider has never played 1B in either the majors or the minors and that accounts for the past 7 years. Of course, Lambo only has 41 games at 1B in about the same amount of time, so a legit question.

Do the switch hitters get twice as much time in the cage as the hitters from one side? Or do they have to split their same amount of time in the cage as everybody else between the two sides?

Had hoped he would have given up on hitting RH – he stinks. Harrison should start against all LHP
