Top prospects Austin Meadows and Stetson Allie have been out of action in minor league camp, both dealing with injuries. With the regular season about two weeks away, here is an update on each player and their eventual return to the game.
**Austin Meadows still hasn't returned to game action after being out with a hamstring injury. The outfielder is expected to miss the first few weeks of the regular season, with the Pirates focusing on keeping him out of the cold weather in West Virginia and risking further injury to the hamstring.
Meadows is currently doing hitting and running drills with the team in the mornings, but hasn't returned to action. He doesn't know when he will get in a game, and hasn't played in a game yet this Spring, since his injury happened early in camp.
