Indianapolis is on their All-Star break until Thursday. When they resume play, they will take on Columbus, who they are tied with for first place.

Altoona is on their All-Star break until Thursday. The Curve are in last place in their division, 20.5 games out of first place.

Jason Creasy will make his 20th start of the season tonight. He has pitched 98.1 innings, allowing 101 hits, six homers and 13 walks. He has 69 strikeouts, a 1.02 GO/AO ratio and a .267 BAA. In his last start, Creasy threw seven shutout innings. He hasn’t walked a batter in his last five starts, a span of 32.2 innings. He faced Clearwater on June 1st and threw six shutout innings, giving up two hits and picking up seven strikeouts. Creasy hasn’t lost in seven home starts, posting a 3.00 ERA in 36 innings. He is tenth in the FSL with a 1.16 WHIP.

Cody Dickson will make his 19th start of the season tonight. He has thrown a total of 87 innings, surrendering 97 hits, eight homers and 38 walks. He has 67 strikeouts, a 1.05 GO/AO ratio and a .290 BAA. In his last start, Dickson gave up one run over 4.2 innings in a game that was suspended due to rain. He threw seven shutout innings in his previous start. Prior to these last two starts, Dickson struggled all season long. He had an ERA over 5.00 in both May and June.

Frank Duncan will make his sixth start of the season tonight. He has gone five innings in each of his last two starts, allowing one run in each game. In his previous two starts combined, Duncan gave up nine runs over 8.2 innings. In 21.2 innings, he has a 4/7 BB/SO ratio.

Dario Agrazal will make his fifth start of the season today. He has looked great since giving up three runs over 3.2 innings in his season debut. John was born in Kearny, NJ, hometown of the 2B for the Pirates 1909 World Championship team, Dots Miller. In fact they have some of the same relatives in common, so it was only natural for him to become a lifelong Pirates fan. Before joining Pirates Prospects in July 2010, John had written numerous articles on the history of baseball while also releasing his own book and co-authoring another on the history of the game. He writes a weekly article on Pirates history for the site, has already interviewed many of the current minor leaguers with many more on the way and follows the foreign minor league teams very closely for the site. John also provides in person game reports of the West Virginia Power and Altoona Curve.

      The top 20 doesn’t change weekly, we do a pre-season and mid-season, so while he could be top 20 now, we won’t be moving him up anytime soon. The next update will be in our Prospect Guide, which is released around Christmas. Bell will not be #1, I can guarantee that
