Brady Dragmire Claimed By the Rangers, Obviously

This is not a joke. Brady Dragmire has been claimed by the Texas Rangers. In a waiver wire tennis match that would rival Andre Agassi vs Pete Sampras in their prime, the Pirates have been going back and forth claiming Dragmire.

First, the Pirates purchased Dragmire from the Toronto Blue Jays on October 5th. Then, the Pirates designated him for assignment, and he was claimed by the Rangers on December 2nd. The Rangers designated him for assignment on the 13th, and the Pirates claimed him the next day. He was DFAd by the Pirates after they signed Daniel Hudson, and the ball is back in the Rangers' court.
