The Fall Instructional League started this week and the Pittsburgh Pirates played their first home game on Thursday afternoon against the Yankees. Pirates Name Tyler Glasnow and Josh Bell Pitcher and Player of the Year

The Pittsburgh Pirates have named their annual award winners for the minor league pitcher and player of the year. For the second season in a row, Tyler Glasnow walked away with the pitcher’s award. Josh Bell won the Player of the Year award for the first time. Andrew Lambo won the player award last year. Glasnow finished the season with a 1.74 ERA in 124.1 innings.
