Pittsburgh Pirates international prospect Jose Acosta has been suspended 50 games for using Stanozolol, a steroid.  Acosta was signed by the Pirates on May 18th out of Venezuela, and has been pitching in the Venezuelan Summer League, where he has thrown 2.1 shutout innings, allowing two hits, one walk, and striking out two in his only appearance.
