Pirates activate Donnelly, place Taschner on DL

The Pittsburgh Pirates have activated relief pitcher Brendan Donnelly from the 15-day disabled list, and have placed relief pitcher Jack Taschner on the 15-day disabled list with a tight left hamstring.  The set of moves made it so that the Pirates didn’t have to send anyone down to AAA to make room for Donnelly. According to Dejan Kovacevic, the Pittsburgh Pirates have signed six Latin American prospects.  The players are outfielder Willy Garcia, right handed pitchers Brayan Almonte, Oderman Rocha, and Jose Luis Acosta, left handed pitcher Angel Sanchez, and first baseman Jose Roman.
