Pirates sign Dominican pitcher

The Pittsburgh Pirates have signed Dominican pitcher Jonathan Herrand out of the Dominican league La Javilla for a $185 K signing bonus, according to Jeffrey Nolasco of Hoy (via MLB Trade Rumors).
