Andrew Lambo had surgery on the ulnar collateral ligament of his right thumb, the Pittsburgh Pirates announced. The surgery was performed on May 28th. Ryan Palencer reported a few days ago that Lambo was going to visit a specialist. Originally his injury was thought to be a bruised thumb, but obviously that’s not the case.
