Minor Moves: Vin Mazzaro Added to Indianapolis

The Pittsburgh Pirates have added Vin Mazzaro to the Indianapolis roster, per an Indianapolis Indians press release. To make room for Mazzaro, Josh Kinney has been transferred to the Jamestown roster. Mazzaro recently cleared waivers and accepted his outright assignment to Triple-A.

Andrew McCutchen Back in the Lineup Tonight After Leaving Early Last Night

Last night Andrew McCutchen left in the bottom of the eighth inning with discomfort in his left ankle. He seemed to be walking fine on the ankle after lining out to end the top of the eighth inning. Tonight, McCutchen is back in the lineup, batting third and playing center field as usual. So it appears that it wasn’t anything major last night, which despite McCutchen’s early season struggles, is a great sign.
