Some notes as they come in on Jameson Taillon, Stetson Allie, and the rest of the 2010 draft class.  All are via Twitter, and the source is Neil Huntington: -From Jennifer Langosch, the Pirates spent close to $12 M on the 2010 draft.  The current draft pick signing tracker shows $4,769,900, although that doesn’t include all bonuses.  Taillon’s bonus hasn’t been announced yet, which means he is probably around $6.5 M....

Jason Hursh Going to Oklahoma State

I just got a message from Pittsburgh Pirates sixth round pick Jason Hursh, who confirmed that he and the Pirates had talked up until today, but that he has decided to go to Oklahoma State.  Hursh and seventh round pick Austin Kubitza have both decided to honor their commitments to college, with Kubitza going to Rice.
