No starter has been named yet for today’s game. It could possibly be the AAA debut for Adrian Sampson, who was promoted yesterday.

AA: Altoona (53-70) vs Trenton (59-64) 7:00pm
Probable starter: Jhonathan Ramos (4-5, 4.26)
Yesterday’s Result: Altoona 3, Trenton 2

Jhonathan Ramos will make his sixth start of the season tonight. He has pitched 30 times in relief. Ramos has thrown 63.1 innings this year, allowing 68 hits, 11 homers and 17 walks. He has 34 strikeouts, a 1.34 WHIP, an 0.95 GO/AO ratio and a .272 BAA. Ramos faced Trenton in his last start, throwing six shutout  innings with just one hit and no walks allowed.

Jason Creasy will make his 25th start of the season tonight. He has thrown 124.2 innings this year, surpassing last year’s total by 16.1 innings already. Creasy has allowed 145 hits, eight homers and 15 walks. He has 78 strikeouts, a 1.04 GO/AO ratio, a 1.28 WHIP and he has a .294 BAA. In his last start, Creasy gave up a season-high 11 hits. It topped the ten he allowed in his previous outing. Right-handed batters are hitting .313 against him this year.

Probable starter: Felipe Gonzalez (2-3, 2.65) and Cody Dickson (5-9, 4.20)
Yesterday’s Result: West Virginia was rained out

Cody Dickson gets his 24th start tonight. He has pitched much better since the All-Star break, going into the break with a 5.58 ERA through 13 starts, and he has posted a 2.61 ERA in ten starts since then. He had a .301 BAA prior to the break and .263 since. Dickson has pitched better on the road this season, with a 3.47 ERA in 14 starts. His home ERA is 5.59 in nine games. He faced Augusta once this year, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks in five innings back on May 16th. Felipe Gonzalez will make his seventh start of the season. He has also pitched 25 times in relief. In his last start, Gonzalez went five innings, giving up four runs(three earned) on seven hits and three walks. He has thrown 85 innings this year, giving up 73 hits, eight homers and 23 walks. He has 79 strikeouts, a 1.13 WHIP, an 0.66 GO/AO ratio and a .230 BAA.

Frank Duncan will get his 11th start of the season tonight. He has thrown 44.1 innings, allowing 46 hits, two homers and nine walks. He has 29 strikeouts, a 1.24 WHIP, an 0.94 GO/AO ratio and a .272 BAA. In his last start, Duncan threw five shutout innings, striking out a career-high six batters. Nick Kingham will make his 11th start for Indianapolis tonight. In his last four starts combined, he has allowed 19 runs over 23.1 innings. Between Indianapolis and Altoona(12 starts), Kingham has thrown 133.1 innings, allowing 120 hits, seven homers and 40 walks. He has 100 strikeouts, a 1.20 WHIP, 1.09 GO/AO ratio and a .238 BAA. He faced Toledo in his last start, giving up four runs on seven hits and two walks in six innings.

Zack Dodson will make his 20th start of the season tonight. He has thrown 97.1 innings, allowing 113 hits, ten homers and 39 walks. He has 58 strikeouts, a 1.56 WHIP, a 1.69 GO/AO ratio and a .295 BAA. In his last start, which was against Trenton, Dodson allowed three runs on four hits and four walks over six innings. Tyler Glasnow will make his 20th start of the season tonight. He has thrown 100 innings, giving up 58 hits, one homer and 51 walks. He has 122 strikeouts, a 1.09 WHIP, an 0.72 GO/AO ratio and a .171 BAA. In three of his last four starts, Glasnow has thrown six shutout innings. He has thrown shutout ball in nine of his 19 starts. Glasnow struck out 11 batters in his last game, the fourth time he has reached double-digits. He ranks first in the FSL in ERA, second in strikeouts and fourth in WHIP.

John Kuchno will make his 24th start of the season tonight. He has thrown 129.1 innings, giving up 119 hits, three homers and 52 walks. He has 56 strikeouts, a 2.57 GO/AO ratio and a .251 BAA. In his last start, Kuchno threw seven innings, giving up two runs on eight hits. He didn’t allow a walk or record a strikeout in the game. In his previous outing, he threw 5.1 shutout innings despite issuing a career-high eight walks.

Luis Heredia will make his 15th start of the season tonight. He has thrown 65.2 innings, allowing 64 hits, six homers and 29 walks. He has 27 strikeouts, a 1.32 GO/AO ratio and a .259 BAA. In his last start, Heredia went six innings, giving up two runs on six hits and a walk. He has gone six innings in each of his last four starts. He has a 3.55 ERA at home and 5.23 on the road. Last year, Heredia had a 1.42 ERA at West Virginia and it jumped to 4.33 on the road.  He also pitched better at home during the 2011-12 seasons, including 2.84 ERA vs 7.94 in the GCL in 2011. Heredia has a total of six strikeouts in his last six starts combined. He turned 20 on Sunday.

Probable Starter: Austin Coley (0-1, 6.75)
Yesterday’s Result: Aberdeen 10, Jamestown 4

Austin Coley will make his fifth start of the season. The 2014 eighth round draft pick made two starts before going down with a shoulder strain. Since returning, Coley has thrown two shutout innings in his first game and 2.2 shutout innings in his last start. Despite the scoreless performance last time out, he did allow five hits.

Gerrit Cole will make his third rehab start for Indianapolis this afternoon. He went five shutout innings in the first game, allowing five hits and three walks, while striking out seven batters.
