The Pittsburgh Pirates have agreed to terms with 2011 4th round pick Colten Brewer, Pirates Prospects has learned.  Brewer is the highest pick that the Pirates have reached an agreement with, and the third player in the 2011 top ten that has agreed to terms. The Pittsburgh Pirates have signed 41st round pick Jonathan Schwind, according to the Democrat and Chronicle (h/t Kristy Robinson).  Schwind was signed for $20,000, plus the Pirates agreed to pay for his senior year of school ($41,000).  The former Marist junior played three infield positions, and two outfield positions, but was drafted as a catcher by the Pirates.  He will report to the GCL Pirates, who start their season on Monday....
