After the Pirates 9-3 win over the Atlanta Braves, the Pirates announced that they have optioned right-handed reliever Evan Meek to Triple-A Indianapolis. They have not yet announced a corresponding roster move. That will come on Tuesday. Meek allowed six runs on 12 hits over 9.2 innings.
