Kevin Correia Contract Details

Yesterday the Pirates agreed to a deal with right handed pitcher Kevin Correia for two years and $8 M.  Dejan Kovacevic has the breakdown of the contract details. Wilfredo Ledezma Gets $700,000

Two days ago the Pittsburgh Pirates made a series of roster moves, and in the process, re-signed left handed relief pitcher Wilfredo Ledezma, avoiding arbitration.  According to USA Today, Ledezma will receive $700,000 in the majors next year, or $300,000 if he plays in the minors.  Ledezma is on the 40-man roster, and out of options, so the only way he makes it to the minors is if he clears waivers and accepts an outright assignment...
